Earlier this summer, the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington (my alma mater) invited me to take part in a gallery conversation with Prof. Naomi Hume, choreographer Alyza DelPan-Monley, and curator Nina Bozicnik as part of the opening of Martha Friedman's Cast-Offs, a sculptural installation involving casts of body parts, metal spikes, and rubber tubes. I recently received the audio from our conversation from the folks at The Henry to share. I talk a little about disability theory, body horror, and science fiction. Check it out on SoundCloud here.
